These two were the first of eight distinct crags that now make up the Akuna Bay bouldering areas.
From the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park entrance just north of the intersection of McCarr's Ck Rd and General San Martin Dr, head north along General San Martin Dr for 1.6kms until a small turn out appears on the left (just after a minor left hand turn). Park here (or in a larger parking area a bit further on), making sure you don't block access to the fire trail.
Follow the fire trail for about 70m, at which point a faint track leads off left and up the hill 50m or so to Five Star Fives. Continue along the firetrail for another 130m or so, then head up the hill for about 50m to get to Three Star Threes.
Both cliffs lie within the Ku-Ring-Gai National Park in an area where climbing is not allowed without explicit permission from NPWS. It is currently unclear whether bouldering within the park is allowed or not.
Covered in detail in the "Sydney Bouldering" guide.
