An excellent beginner's bouldering area in an absolutely stunning setting. The best time to visit is winter, since the cliff faces north and can roast in summer.

To get there, drive north along West Head Rd and park at the start of the Challenger Track. Follow the track right out to the end - the bouldering is all located below the cleared area at the end (about 2km from the car).

This crag lies within the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park, in an area where climbing is not allowed without explicit permission from NPWS. It is also highly visible to the non-climbing public. It is currently unclear whether bouldering within the park is allowed or not.

Covered in detail in the "Sydney Bouldering" guide.
