I'll be back on the Northern Beaches from March 16 to April 6 and I'm looking for a climbing partner. I have been doing a bunch of sport and some trad in the States and would love to check out the climbing in and around Sydney--especially around the Northern Beaches. Let me know if you are interested and available!
You can PM me at email@example.com
Hi NSW climbers!
I'm a New York City-based female climber who will be visiting Oz for the first time in a few weeks. I'm looking for a partner to swap leads and travel to the Blue Mountains from Sydney around February 18 - 20th. I have some flexibility with dates as I will be in Sydney from the 15th - 21st.
Happy to pay for gas and brekkie! I am a super safe, highly competent and experienced climber who leads up to 5.11d/7a sport and 5.6/5a trad. Looking to lead more moderate grades and can follow tougher routes. Feel free to reach out to me on firstname.lastname@example.org and you can read my bio at BoulderingBabes.com.
Additionally I will be leading a female-focused bouldering clinic @ 9 Degrees Sydney on 16 February evening for anyone in the Sydney area who is interested in attending.

I will be in Sydney for a few weeks mid-October to mid-Novmeber and would love a couple days climbing in the Blue Mountains. I welcome any style of climbing you like, just want to get out and see the place. I would MOST like to find a trad climber, with gear, to swap some leads with. I typically lead 5.7-5.10 in US, I guess that is 14-20?? I live in Boston and typically climb in New England and New York. I especially enjoy longer routes, multi-pitch, and I have been doing climbs of this sort for several decades. Again, I welcome ANY climbing possibilities just to get out and see this place
SO SEND ME A NOTE if you want to connect for a day or two.

I'm an average climber on 22-23 outdoor and V4-V5 boulder , I've done just one multipitch but I wasn't leading do I'd like to do some more and I've been told that the blue mountains are amazing.
I don't have gear except for my shoes and my harness.
I'm also keen for a fewbeers after a climb usually
My contacts are firstname.lastname@example.org for emails and my phone is 0434151319
I hope to see many of you soon.
My name is Andrea and I'll move to Sidney from the Gold Coast next month and I'd like to start from now to know where are the better climbing centres or climbing spots in Sydney like that bi can try to find a flat close to them.
I'd like also to know if there are some events that I can join to meet new people and make some friends coz I don't know anyone in Sydney.
I'd like also (but maybe this is to much =)to know if there is any work for me that you know....I'm a waiter/barista/bartender but I'm open to any kind of job and even to take some course if there is any chance to work into the climbing sector.
I will appreciate so much any help that you can give to me.
Have a good day everyone.
Id recommend living near St Peters http://www.indoorclimbing.com.au/st_peters/ it's super close train ride to the city, Newtown & Surry hills all of which have plenty of hospo opportunities. All the best with your move to Sydney
Hi there, not sure whether this works or if anyone checks these things or if this is actually the right place to write stuff... But... I'm new to Sydney, kiwi, male and in need of a climbing partner. I climb trad or sport up to around 22. I have not climbed for a while so a bit weak. Happy with mellow fun grads especially long easy trad routes. I have all my own gear including trad.
Cheers Jon 0409734346

Im looking for info on new climb/climbs in the rain cave at mandalay?? New climb is near one of mine, its got fixed hangers and the same finish as the two other climbs. Just trying to find out if this guy is a local as im keen to do more work at this crag and would like someone else's ideas on things.
Just to let everyone know that wingelo crags just got alot harder to access,
National parks placed some huge boulders (10 tone plus) at the top of the track
Near the fire fighters memorial. Also a new gate across the main track about 200
Meters before u get to the fire fighters memorial. So your now up for a long walk
Down the hill and back out.
