For some reason I can't edit this page, but I wanted to mention that the Cathedral is also pretty tick-infested. Both times I visited the place we had at least one member of the party get a tick.
It wouldn't suprise me, I've seen almost everything else there. I've never seen one though
Perhaps they prefer younger meat?
The Seacliffs are the tallest cliffs in Sydney - and Jolls Bridge is also taller (and better) than the Cathedral. Personally I think Berwora is a much better crag than Catherdral. Its cleaner, more popular and has a good variety of grades and styles.
Depends on your definition of "in Sydney", but both Mandalay (on the Colo) and Glenbrook Gorge are significantly higher than any of the sea cliffs (albeit more broken too).
All these strange crags you guys are discussing are outside the shire, hence are not part of Sydney. Nowra is only 1.5 hours away. Jolls Bridge takes about 3 hours from the Shire, its probably quicker to drive to the Grampians..
Been there last Thursday. As soon as start walking after the parking spot, saw 18 white tapes around trees which guided us though the bush. That's good for new visitors. tried new ring bolts on all G16 at Tarmac Traverse.
This guide topo is better than others. should have known to use this to avoid pump up my arms so quickly.
Retro Crack says: Mostly laybacking and climbing the left arete. But the photo shows laybacking the right arete? Or am I getting my lefts and rights mixed up again...?
